Have No Fear

What’s your take on the world?
Do you agree with the mad man
Shouting out to warn us
As his alarming sign displays
the very end of days?
What does he know that we don’t?
He seems to have the information
We simply don’t want to hear.

Are we too afraid to confront
the things we can’t see?
No one seems to be safe here,
We continue to overhear
that things are getting worse.
People’s lives are being lost
for absolute unjust reasons.
Helplessness starts to sink in
as we continue to fight within.

So, we just let it be
And try to live carefree.
But in the back of our minds,
We know the end may be near,
And that there’s nothing to fear
because we have already
turned this place into hell.
