Something Like A Cult

They say we’re something like a cult
Because we’re the youth in revolt.
So, they say it’s our fault,
It’s judgement by default.
they want to put the blame on us,
They’ve got no faith, no trust.
It’s the wrong place, wrong time.
It’s our faces, but not our crime.
They’re trying to pin us down
and chase us out this town.
We’re fighting from with in,
but there’s nowhere that we fit in.
We march to the beat of different drum,
So, they hate what we’ve become.
They’ve got no control on us,
They’ve got nothing left to discuss.
Listen or don’t, it our time to speak
Even in the midst of their critiques.
We’ll proudly stand on our own,
so, go ahead and throw stones.
