Satellite Vision

Satellite vision,
everybody’s wishing
that they could see
beyond the stars,
to see it from afar.

Everybody’s wishing
that they could see
beyond the truth,
to see behind the line.

They want to know
if they’ll be fine,
even if they hear it
through the grapevine.

It’s a great distance
to get a simple glance
of what the future holds.

Everybody’s wishing
that they could see
what’s beyond light,
to see it all tonight.
but all they see is
what’s in front of them.

They’re eager to know
what they’ll become,
but yet oblivious
to the final outcome.
