A Healing Power 

Despite the fall,
there’s a healing power
in knowing that we
can rise above this,
whatever this may be.

Despite the setback,
there’s a healing power
in knowing that we can
give it another try,
however how long it takes.

And despite the obstacles,
there’s a healing power
in knowing that we can
overcome the odds together.

If we can put aside our
fears just for a moment,
we’ll be able to see clearly
that there’s so much more to do.
We can feel it in our bones,
but it’s not set in stone,
No one has to do it alone.
This is just the cornerstone
of what’s to come along.

Despite the rumors,
there’s a healing power
in believing in ourselves
and what we can do.

Despite the hatred,
there’s a healing power
in supporting one another
through thick and thin.

And despite the madness,
there’s a healing power
in finding peace within ourselves.
