Ride Like Lightning

 

He’ll admit that mistakes were made,
He’ll admit that dues weren’t paid.
He thought that he knew it all.
He tried to ride like lightning,
But crashed like thunder.
And just like that, he fell under.
He got lost in the high speed race,
He couldn’t keep up with the pace.
He fell into the shadow of doubt,
But he was able to crawled out,
Although bridges were burned,
There were many lessons learned.
Now, he is back like new,
You can see how much he grew.
He has gone through a lot,
But it was all worth the shot.
