Far’s Too Close

They traveled as far as they could,
But far just seems too close.
Too close to the same old place.
The environment hasn’t change much,
The people are out of touch.
Always talking a simple talk,
Always walking the same walk.

They traveled as far as they could,
But it’s just not far enough,
Not far enough to really see the world,
To see new places, to see new faces.
It’s always whispers of the same stories,
They want to hear something new.

They blame themselves for caving in,
